5 months really?

Ok I am so bad at this. It seriously has been 5 months since I blogged last. Don't hold it against me. I rarely check my email. Im more of a 5:30 am iced coffee knox news sentiel crossword puzzle kind of guy! I like doing this though. So lets see, in the past 5 months I have:

1. Cut my hair
2. Started lisetening to Parachute Musical
3. Left a church
4. Became a worship leader of a brand new church that's going to turn this world inside out!
5. (still) trying to become a better worship leader,
6. Switching to a new bible.... NLT baby! Can you believe it?
7. Went camping without SAND!! I survived!
8. 2 of my close buds are going to be dads ( better you guys than me)

Alot more has happened just can't type very well or very fast so Im going to stop!

PS. I love STARBUCKS!

Hey everybody I'm back from work. Yeah that was a really long shift. How is everybody doing? I'm doing okay I guess. God has been really good to me and Deena of course as always. Anyway, if you guys haven't heard Jon Foreman's new CD titled "Winter" and "Fall" EP, you need to get it. There are six songs on each album and they are unbelievable. If you don't know who Jon Foreman is he is the lead singer of Switchfoot. The songs are just him and the acoustic guitar with a string section. Download it or pick it up. Have a great week.

Well what do you know the Cowboys won against Green Bay 37-27. I have to admit before the game I was very nervous about the game because of the man Brett Favre, but the Cowboys stepped it up and won the game. My hats go off to the Packers because they are also one of the best teams in the league. They will meet again in the division championship that is my prediction. 11 and 1 YEAH!!!!!

On to more important matters. My heart goes out to the Potter family. A dear loved one passed away two days ago Harold Larry Potter's father. Please if you read this pray for their family that their pain will pass. He his with Jesus now and that is just awesome. God Bless.

Well folks it's finally happened. Dallas Cowboys are on top this year leading the NFC. Well, they will be leading the NFC after they beat Green Bay @ home this coming Thursday. After an awesome win over the Jets 34-3 which is just sad Tony Romo and the guys said we are ready for GB. I know that Brett Favre is an awesome quarterback however, but that will not stop Marion Barber, T.O., Crayton, or Ware from winning. So, with that said good luck GB because you are going to need it!!!!!!!!!! You guys have a good day and God Bless.

Hey everybody. I just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. Deena and I are going to to see my family today so I'm pretty excited about that. If your wanting to go to starbucks today they close at 2 or 6. I don't think I could live without Starbucks. Two days without it in a row is enough. Hey everybody hows it going? I know I have been missing in action for about a month now but everything has just been busy, well not really I just haven't posted. Sorry. Holiday is fixing to start at Starbucks on Nov. the 8th and I'm really excited. I love the atmosphere the music and I get to set it up this year in the store. As for my wife she and her friend Denira just got back last night from taking pictures at the Jeremy Camp concert which were awesome. Good job sweety. Right now I am watching the Return of the King and it's fricken awesome. Last thing, if anybody has not heard Nickel Creek's new CD go out and get it because it is great. Number 11 is the best one. It's called "Doubting Thomas". Go and check it out. Well I guess that is it. Have a good day and God Bless.

Sunday Morning Worship.

Hey everybody hows it going? As you all know I led worship on Sunday. The congregation was still not that involved except for a handful of people but, at least there were people worshiping. I really felt the presence of the spirit. As I was singing the old hymns like "Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing", "I Stand Amazed in the Presence", and "O For a Thousand Tounges" I was shaking because the words are so powerful. I mean when I am up there singing words like we will see his face the one who loves us so much that he died for us, it is just so awesome. I really want to thank my wife and her mom and dad for letting me lead on Sundays and there support. I want to thank Bobby Williams our youth pastor for talking to me about leading worship and also Danny Bright for an awesome leader as well. The book Inside/Out Worship is really awesome. You should pick it up. And even though our church is not even close to being where it should be, I can still feel the spirit through the songs that God writes which is awesome. Where we get back to getting people saved and preaching God's word. Especially to the kids because they will be leading our churches when we get old. God Bless>

Jason and Susan Tiptons' workout visit!

Well, right now I'm sitting in my living room/dining room/foyer with my wife, Jason, and his wife Susan.(The Tiptons.) First it started out as them coming over to look at their wedding picures, but then we started watching old home vidoes of my wife Deena. So I made a pot of coffee and I've been myspacing it all night while they watch T.V. Now Jason has a ink pen in his pencil holder or as you would call it-buttcrack. Thank you Jason. My wife's name is Deena in case you didn't know. We have been together for four years and have been married for two years in November. If it wasn't for her I probably wouldn't be the person I am today. I love her very much and I hope she knows that. Since I've been with her I have changed my hair style about ten times, I have lost almost fifty pounds in which I gained twenty of them back but then you gain weight when you're happy. Also she really got me back into church with kids at Fusion. So, I want to say thank you to my wife and i love you. I love you baby!!

Weekend Retreat/Fusion Sunday Night!!!

Wow! What can I say about this weekend. It was really great. I have never seen so many different kids and young adults come together like they did at BRSP this weekend. We worshiped and praised God so what more could you ask for. I just love all these kids. Sunday night was also a great night to remember. 13 people were baptized and the message was awesome. You just had to have been there. I just want to say that I am proud of these kids and I love them with all my heart. They are all unique and special and I hope they keep on praising God.

Oh and by the way Denira, I haven't had Starbucks today!!! Yah Baby!!

Wednsday Bible Study at Jason and Susan's "VERY NICE" house!!!

Hey guys, hows it going? I'm visiting my parents' house today and man is it stinking hot in here. Last night my wife and I went to our usual bible study at Jason and Susan's "VERY NICE" house. Jason really did a great job. His lesson was that even though we go through hard times, the slightest prayer to God will help you out. All you have to do is cling to him and the hard times will be so much easier. Also, I'm leading worship this Sunday at our church and I wish you guys would pray for the spirit of God to work through the music and allow people to worship. We are doing a couple of new songs like "Uncreated One" by Chris Tomlin and the old hymn "Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing" David Crowder's version. I am really excited!!! Sorry I've had to much coffee this morning. As Usual huh? Well I hope everybody has a great day.

Hey everybody, this is my fourth official blog. Last night Bobby, Billy and myself played music at Starbucks Coffee on Emory Rd. It was a blast. We did a lot of Beatles, James Taylor, and some worship songs. Our life group was there which made it really fun. One song that we played was Eleanor Rigby. It was the best one because we actually had a violin player Ann Letsinger with us. I think that she stole the show with that song. Anyhoo I was happy to see my whole life group there. I appreciate you guys coming out. I'm really hungry right now............................ So I think I'm gonna go get something to eat. See ya.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows!!!

I have just finished reading the last Harry Potter and boy was it stinking awesome!!! I am really sad that the Harry Potter series is over. If you haven't read it I highly suggest that you read it.

On a different note leading worship on Sunday was unbelievable. The Sunday night fusion services are a little bit better because they are more laid back. The kids really get into the music which is great. Bobby Williams our youth pastor taught on Sunday morning which was also great. His message was actually "Church Related" and that is the way it should be.
